DORA A DANIEL
VICE PRESIDENT, HUMAN RESOURCES
Dora Ann Daniel is vice president of human resources at ICRW. Working closely with the chief operating officer, Daniel develops, implements and manages human resources strategy, policy and practice for ICRW. She also broadly oversees the human resource department of the Asia Regional Office.
Daniel is a highly-experienced human resources professional who brings over twenty-three years of human resources experience to ICRW. She has previously managed human resources at Procter and Gamble and MCI Telecommunications. In 2004, Daniel founded a private consulting firm that served clients such as CAMFED International, CEDPA (the Centre for Development and Population Activities), IMA World Health, and the International Women’s Media Foundation. Her career includes seven years as the vice president of human resources for a private real estate developer in Washington, D.C. Daniel comes to ICRW with experience in international work, specifically in Kenya, where she taught small business development.
Daniel is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), World at Work, the American Association for University Women (AAUW), the American Management Association (AMA), the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) and the International Society of Human Resources Professionals (ISHRP).
B.A. in technical writing from the University of Baltimore; holds Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) human resources certifications.
