Suzanne Petroni, ICRW’s Senior Director of Global Health, Youth and Development spoke to Bloomberg News about how a proposed abortion ban in Poland could result in unsafe abortion and how it represents a shift in the overall global trend, with many countries moving toward more liberal policies. Women took to the streets in Poland, threatening to abstain from work, to protest the proposed policy.
