ICRW Announces Four New Global Board Members
The International Center for Research on Women (ICRW) proudly announces the addition of four accomplished leaders to its Global Board. Mette Kjaer Kinoti, Nadia Cherrouk, Sia Nowrojee and Dominik Mjartan bring a wealth of expertise and dedication to advancing ICRW’s mission of promoting rights and opportunities for women, girls, and structurally excluded populations through actionable research and innovative solutions.
- Mette Kjaer Kinoti has more than 30 years of international development experience with organizations including Amref Health Africa, Helen Keller International, the World Bank and the Health NGO Network in Kenya, which she founded. Mette is the Chair of the ICRW Africa Board.
- Nadia Cherrouk is a seasoned executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in international development and is currently the Chief Administrative Officer at the Pan American Development Foundation.
- Sia Nowrojee is the Associate Vice President, Girls & Women Strategy at the United Nations Foundation and has more than 30 years of experience working for gender equality for organizations including Girl Up and Aga Khan Development Network.
- Dominik Mjartan is CEO of American Pride Bank and has more than two decades of experience in banking and community development.
These new Global Board Directors join long-serving leaders of ICRW’s Board and complement the leadership of ICRW’s Africa and Asia boards. In alignment with ICRW’s Strategic Vision, the Global Board is working to foster closer integration with the regional offices in Africa and Asia. The Global Board and regional boards will continue to guide and shape ICRW’s goals to more accurately reflect and resonate with the communities we seek to serve.
