Girls in crisis
In May 2016, the World Humanitarian Summit (WHS) will convene to consider the current state of affairs of global security and humanitarian response. This occurs against the backdrop of the greatest refugee crisis of our time, with the largest number of displaced people since World War II. This has placed a major strain on the global humanitarian system.
ICRW and other international NGOs developed a set of recommendations for how civil society organizations, NGOs, decision-makers and donors attending the WHS can leverage policy, programs and research to improve the lives of girls living in conflict around the world.
