This infographic presents a snapshot of the key findings and recommendations emerging from the various research studies conducted as part of the Women in Leadership in Health Sector study in India. The insights and analysis highlighted are drawn from the review of existing literature, content analysis of legislations affecting women in the workplace, and a primary qualitative study conducted with 19 organizations and 55 study participants working in the health sector. It showcases the factors affecting women’s leadership journeys at the individual, interpersonal, organizational, structural, and normative levels, followed by key recommendations that can support women in advancing into leadership positions.
