Hellen (She/Her), is an African Feminist, humanitarian, and development practitioner with 17 years’ experience in advancing human rights for all through high-impact programming and evidence-based advocacy. She has worked across 3 continents in over 26 countries, supporting program design, implementation, management, grant acquisition, advocacy and campaigns at national and regional levels with local and national actors, as well as international NGOs including World Vision, Save the Children, Oxfam GB and Plan International.

Hellen revolutionized monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning systems for impact and amplified brand visibility for different non-governmental organizations through strategic communications and public campaigns. She has built systems for program and grants management, designed road maps for strengthening locally led development, and coached managers into leaders.

Hellen works as the Strategy, Quality, and Impact Director at World Vision in Ethiopia. She previously served as the Director of Programme Development and Quality at Save the Children Kenya and Madagascar Country Office. Hellen is a board member of Femicide Count KE a Nongovernmental Organization that focuses on eliminating Violence Against Women in Kenya, particularly Femicide.
