Jacqueline Asiimwe (she/her), the CEO of CivSource Africa, is a Ugandan and USA-trained lawyer with a successful record of accomplishments in leadership, management, law, and policy formulation, as well as advocacy and training. She possesses extensive experience in policy research and analysis, lobbying, and advocacy on human rights, governance, and democratization, as well as women’s rights.  Jacqueline is a results-oriented, high-energy, hands-on professional and my work experience spans civil society, government, and donor agencies.  She has excellent communication, coordination, and networking skills.

Jacqueline has 25 years of work experience spanning civil society, government, and donor agencies.  Fifteen of these have been in leadership positions. She knows and understands what it means to lead and motivate teams, what it is to hold and peruse a vision for an organization, to raise funds, and to be an embodiment of an organization’s values.  Jacqueline leads with compassion, empathy, and integrity.
